just got back from seeing wicked (it was AWESOME). we have decided that i am glinda and that we need to reread the book (also the sequel). i wish i could sing like the girl who played elphaba (she was SO. GOOD. ugh) also fiyero was cute (like A+ from afar but like a B up close, but google images tells me he has nice eyes).

it feels like it was just yesterday i was like walking (possibly dancing) around in high school practicing for good for graduation or singing what is this feeling about someone i dislike (and popular just because. also, i would deny it if you asked me in person, but in my angsty teenage years i used to listen to i’m not that girl thinking about whichever guy i liked at the time — spoiler: none of them grew up to be guys i would like circa 2012) and tonight i just saw it IRL ughhhh so many feelings.

i wish they had like, broadway songs at karaoke places. imagine how much fun that would be? i would have to incorporate my signature tambourine choreography somehow, but i’m pretty sure i could make it work.

also we had dinner at Real Food Daily and everything was vegan and delicious. I ate like 9/10 of a giant burrito (it was like chipotle-sized. also i ate the salad that came with it and it was delicious. delicious leaves!) and downed a glass of iced yerba mate latte and then split a chocolate blackout cake with chelsea (i didn’t even know they made vegan chocolate blackout cake. it was so good). dear friends, we should always always eat there (patty if you are reading this please remember i said that when we are out and i start going ‘so where should we eat?’) they put like tempeh bacon in everything! ugh this is making me hungry i should finish the like tenth of a burrito i had left.

but yes overall i give this night two thumbs up! (even though i stayed out way past my bedtime)
